Danielle White, Homestead, Fla. [Click here for full profile.]
Halloween is Danielle White's favorite holiday. "It's the one time of year you
get to be someone/something different," she says. "Growing up, I would
watch my mom do her nails, and I wanted to match hers," she remembers.
Eventually she stopped painting her nails and picked up other hobbies. Then
one day out of nowhere, she thought to search for nail art videos on YouTube
and has been hooked since. "To create cool Halloween nails, do not be afraid of using
other colors besides black and orange," she advises. White also recommends trying new
things like textured polish, stickers, water decals, half pearls, and more. "When doing your
non-dominant hand keep in mind that it will take you a little longer to
complete your masterpiece, just be patient," the artist says. She believes
the most important thing about nail art is to have fun, in between the
pumpkin carving, haunted houses, and dressing up, of course.
