Tanaya Middleton, Treasure Nothing Better, Baltimore
Tanaya Middleton and her partner Sheena Smith have
been doing nails for 16 years, and they both use anything
small enough to fit on a nail to embellish it. "We try to feel
out our clients as far as their personality to figure out how
Middleton and Smith simple or busy to go," says Middleton who prides herself
on creating "nails with endless possibilities," whether that means embellished
"show nails" or creating unique nail shapes. "Almost everyone wants some crazy
or unique design," says Middleton who believes that in the next few years everyone
will be sporting artwork that used to only be seen at shows on their
everyday nails. Middleton's specialty is embellishing the accent nail,
mixing glitz with design or a complementary color.
